Coffee Tour & Materuni Waterfalls, Moshi.
After breakfast (approx. 8:00am) you will have two hours’ drive from Arusha to the Materuni village located at the bottom of Kilimanjaro national park. You will be shown traditions and customs as well as how the local Chagga people grow and process the coffee. You will visit coffee farms, pick coffee and make your own strong coffee locally. After this tour of coffee farms, you will enjoy your picnic lunch. Then hike for 45 minutes to Materuni waterfalls to explore nature and enjoy swimming in this freshwater Mount Kilimanjaro waterfall. This is a full day tour.
Late evening you will be driven back to your compound in Arusha.
